Of course you can start your own blog – and
you should. But it should be a beat blog, filled with content that demonstrates
you have mastered a specialism of some kind.
If you are on a journalism course, the
college will have a website or magazine on which you’ll get published.
On work experience you can ought to get a
byline or two, and on an internship you ought to get loads.
That’s all great as far as it goes, but you
